All potential new owners will have an informal chat with a Cats Protection volunteer in your home.
All the cats from this branch live with local volunteer fosterers either in outdoor pens, in their own homes or in local cattery pens kindly donated by the cattery owner.

Home-Visitor's REQUIRED URGENTLY
This is an essential role within any Branch and should be carried out by
someone with good people skills, who is a good judge of character and who
has their own driving licence.
The Home-visitor is responsible for visiting prospective homes to ensure
that the right cat is placed in the right home.
Responsibilities:
To interview prospective owners to ensure that they will be suitable to
adopt a CP cat.
To assess the most suitable cat for the candidate.
To answer any queries the prospective owners may have regarding cat welfare
or CP procedures.
To ensure that prospective owners are aware of the responsibilities, and
costs, of owning a cat or kitten.
To be honest about the suitability of a prospective home.
Training will be provided.
